8:00 AM — Hotel pick-up
Meet your English or French tour guide at your hotel in Can Tho and travel by air-conditioned car towards Lung Ngoc Hoang, about an hour from the city.
Around 9:00 AM — Enter the wetland reserve
Arrive at the reserve and leave the road behind. The landscape changes to flooded forest, narrow waterways and quiet green canals.
Small-boat journey through hidden canals
Cruise slowly through narrow canals surrounded by wetland vegetation. It is the peaceful part of the day, with plenty of time to watch the landscape and local wildlife.
Birdlife & wetland scenery
Keep an eye out for waterbirds and other wildlife among the trees and waterways. The reserve is known for its rich wetland ecosystem and bird habitat.
Observation tower & forest walk
Climb the observation tower for a wider view of the surrounding wetland, then enjoy an easy forest walk of about 1.2 km. If you prefer to take it easy, you can skip the walk and remain on the boat.
